Karin Kolodziejski of MetaSkills is the only master trainer on the West Coast for the Hogan Certification Workshop. MetaSkills offers the public certification workshop several times a year.
MetaSkills has consultants trained to facilitate for Immunity to Change (ITC), the program created by Dr. Robert Kegan and Dr. Lisa Lahey of Minds at Work that is designed to help individuals, teams, and organizations achieve changes by understanding and successfully dealing with internal unconscious resistance.
MetaSkills is a distributor for Hogan Assessments, Hogan 360 assessments, Center for Creative Leadership assessments, and TruScore 360° feedback surveys. Bridging Perspectives
In Bridging Perspectives we work to ground leaders in an understanding of potential differences in perspectives that exist within organizations. Three frameworks are provided to help leaders: understand and manage our reactions to the perspectives of others, listen empathically, and build bridges across perspectives to create new possibilities amongst us.
This session launches leaders and teams to the next level organizationally as it provides concrete activities and practices to help bridge the gaps that exist between us all.

Leading with Courage
In Leading with Courage, we explore and interact around ideas of vulnerability, trust, values, and resilience. Based off of research shared in Brené Brown’s book Dare to Lead, this workshop gives a group time to individually reflect and work together to start important conversations around what they would like to change or adjust around leading authentically. Using breakout groups, assessment tools, and structured reflections, we strive to create space for courageous actions to take shape.

Leading During Times of Stress—Navigating our Derailers
This workshop focuses on the Hogan HDS dimensions, what Hogan terms the derailers. Those characteristics that can we exhibit in our behavior when we are under stress and pressure.
We’re living in unprecedented times…fear, anxiety and stress are on the rise. We can expect that the derailers indicated as moderate or high risk on HDS will show up. What can we do?

Resilience and Recovery
This workshop explores the different interpretations of resilience and offers an approach to support today’s workers. Resilient people are self-aware and able to cope with varying situations while remaining healthy emotionally and physically while fully participating in their communities.
We look at what it means to have a sense of control, the importance of strong social connections, and how to develop problem-solving skills.

Adjusting and Grieving in a Time of Uncertainty
This workshop reflects on the impact of what is happening inside and outside of us and considers the tools and support we might need to cope.
In it, we explore how we can think about adjusting and grieving during this time and beyond, provide a few tools for reflection and coping, and consider how we can support self and other through these times and beyond.

Building Collaboration using Levels of Listening
This workshop helps us to learn how to listen at deeper levels, enabling us to truly understand from others’ perspectives. When we listen at the deeper levels, it creates opportunities to generate new solutions and pathways.
In this workshop, we use Otto Scharmer’s Levels of Listening to do extensive listening practice to navigate conflicts and increase collaboration.

Leading through Resistance
This workshop is focused on one of the biggest obstacles leaders can face in leading change: managing through the resistance that will naturally emerge. Yet resistance can also be a leader’s most powerful tool.
In this workshop, we use Rick Maur’s Levels of Resistance to identify and engage resistance in productive ways.

The Coaching Mindset: Powerful Questions
This workshop is for leaders who want to increase their ability to influence change by taking a coaching approach in developing their teams and working with their peers.
Together, we explore the coaching mindset, what it is, and when to use it. Participants will practice the fundamental skill of asking powerful questions to uncover ideas, enable change, and influence decisions.
